During the Primary campaign, one candidate used deliberate misinformation and lies to argue that I don't work hard or care about my constituents. I wanted to show you just what my constituents DO say about me.

Below are some of the emails I've received from constituents and readers just over the last three years. (I have copied these directly from the emails.)

"I could not believe I have been moved out of your district! I consulted my sample ballot, and I am not able to vote for you anymore.
You have been the only politician to ever respond to my original service question and you have kept me informed the entire session. No other Delegate or Senator has ever performed that service. I assume that they think we citizens only need to hear from them at election time!
Thank you so much for being the best politician that I ever had representing me.  Keep up the good fight.”

"Ms. Kittleman,  Excellent stuff. Seldom do representatives get into the details of legislation, you do that, and it is succinct."

"No one reports back better than you. You should teach courses on it. I can't believe that you will have trouble in any election but my bet is that you will continue to represent your district."

"My husband and I are registered and active voters. I love your newsletters and information and want to thank you for sending them out. . . .Thank you, again for making your oppositions clear and concise and for providing all of this information. I look forward to more information from you."

"Thank you for all your hard work and time spent on the job!!!!!!"

"Standing up for what is right, for the truth, and for democracy has never been more challenging than it is today and all of us in 9A are blessed that you are there for us. I am sure you get many “thanks” but I wanted to add one more."

"Thank you for your insightful updates. I really enjoy them and would very much like to see you run for Governor."

"First I want to thank you for your outstanding representation in the Maryland Legislature!  We really need your voice!! I truly appreciate your emails and your perspective of what is happening in Annapolis! Please don’t get discouraged there are many of us who stand with you! And are so grateful that you try and hold the line against these “bad” bills! It can seem like a hopeless battle but please keep on “fighting”!

Your updates are so very appreciated! And your stand on so many issues vitally needed! You have my vote and support (and prayers).

With gratitude,"

"Thank you for your continued updates of the yearly circus in Annapolis. It's very informative to get an objective viewpoint of what actually goes into the bill making process, as well as the 'behind the scenes' insight."

"I am a conservative Independent and Maryland politics rarely provoke my interest; yours is the exception. You are informative and provide a light in the darkness of Maryland liberal politics ; believe me , I am not a fan of the liberal tax and spend culture coming out of Annapolis."

."I stand totally loyal to you thoughts, believes, and actions, wishing you were my representative! BUT we live in Maryland!

"First, let me say that “you” are a refreshing “voice of reason” from the blue-leaning tax and spend State of Maryland. As a retired military veteran having lived in multiple locations around the world. I really enjoy your ongoing style and your fight against tyranny, political hubris and never-ending desire to bilk the taxpayers of Maryland."

"LOVE YOUR E-MAILS WITH SO MUCH INFO!!!!!"

"Thank you for the News letters. I read every word.

I especially appreciated the excerpt from the former Marylander who now lives in Florida. . . . . Please keep up the good work. You are a wonderful representative for our district."

"Thank you once again for keeping us informed. Reading your newsletters invariably makes me very happy that I voted for you!"

"I thank and commend you for your constituent communications with detailed and factual information. . . . Your frank discussion of school politics and policies is necessary and greatly appreciated. . . . I follow state and local legislation, but it was not until I read your email that I learned that the 2020 bill (vetoed) and 2021 bill to settle a lawsuit for $577M is a huge taxpayer ripoff. The court sustained a minor count not worth any monetary damages. Thank you for explaining the case.

"Thank you for your advocacy on behalf of average citizens and taxpayers."

"I really appreciated your compelling statement on the value of school choice."

"Thank you for keeping me apprised of developments in Annapolis.  I appreciate your honesty in voicing your opinions; a trait sorely lacking in many politicians of all stripes and hierarchies."

"Thank you for keeping us informed. Even though I am not in your district, you seem to be the only one who cares if constituents are informed."

"Thank you for another message full of facts. If the areas like Baltimore City are failing the students. It would stand to reason that this happens in our states and counties. . . .  I am greatly distressed over this information. Thank you for bringing it to light and spelling it out clearly."

"Thank you for caring and writing back. I am sharing your link and info. Be safe."

"First and foremost thank you so very much for all you do on our behalf to bring smarter ways of addressing issues of all depth and breadth from the constituents to the political forces in Annapolis and from Annapolis to the constituents......I am very much on the same page with your efforts and reasoning listed herein."

"A very interesting Newsletter, especially the first item, "Collecting Data on Students and Teachers'' . . .

"Thank you..... for listening. Unfortunately political leadership failing to listen to their constituents is a growing problem.
It’s not imperative that political leaders react to feedback, but it is important to process and file feedback points to better understand what their constituents are thinking.
Respectfully, you have demonstrated this ability!
Thanks for your email messages. I do read them and I like your style!"
